Next Project 

CRAFT CLUB PROJECT 1  JUNE 2010  

First project, as promised, is a real time-saver.  The cards are C6 on a bright white, 300gsm card, and all you need are  

1.  gold or silver mirriboard,

2   a  strip of gold or silver sparkly peel-offs,

3.  gold or silver fine border peel-offs,

4.  gold or silver greetings. 

 

     I always use double sided tape for sticking down, but a tape pen or micro-dots  are equally efficient.  

For the best effect, make sure your peel-off decorations straddle the white and metallic card so that you get a two-tone effect.  Unfortunately my silver mirriboard has shown up as black, so you may need to use your imagination!   Happy crafting! Joy

 

Create a pale-coloured wash in the middle of your card with Cut or punch a flesh coloured circle and slip under top of crib to suggest a face.
Draw a halo around the face with gold or silver pen, and fix a silver star above the crib, off centre.
Finally, write or print the word “Emmanuel” with silver or Gold pen on white card, edge the card 
in gold or silver, and Stick beneath crib.
