Brenda & Fred's Fellowship  Group

Fred & Brenda’s Fellowship Group has been running for many years.    The Group meets throughout the year on a fortnightly basis, apart from breaks during the summer holiday months.   Meetings are held on a Thursday evening at 8 pm in a member’s home.   There are about eight or nine people who attend regularly whilst two or three attend from time to time.

The Group is currently studying a book published by the Scripture Union entitled “Essential 100”.  This book deals with the fact that, to many people, the Bible is not an easy read and it has therefore carefully selected 100 bible passages from the Old and the New Testaments with written notes in order to enable us to reflect on the Bible’s meaning and relevance for us today.   The book highlights the major themes and gives the “big picture” from Genesis to Revelation.

Each member comes to the Meeting having previously read the chosen topic and discussions then take place with opinions being voiced which give considerable help to our understandings and beliefs.  

The evening then closes with refreshments and a time for social chit chat, and we all look forward to the next Meeting.
