Open Air Service - 27th May

On the 27th May there will be a united service in Frogmoor organised by Love Wycombe.
This is an open air Christian service/celebration with over 40 local churches represented including most of the churches in our circuit. The aim is to bring Christians in our town together, as one voice, in unity
 (the website www.lovewycombe.org.uk provides more details).  For those who cannot a
ttend there will be a local arrangement at our Church.

June 30th at Bren’s & Snowy’s and on the 21st July at Margaret James both 2.30.pm. to 5.pm.

at the weekend celebrations which were really appreciated. We had a really good time
and would like to thank Mike for his special service.

at 11.am and bring a packed lunch for a half-way stop. The walk to Hyde Heath and back is one
of our favourite walks and is approx.4 and a half miles. Should you need transport, please speak to Fred or Brenda.

FOLLOWED BY A BRING AND SHARE LUNCH   -

We particularly extend an invitation to everyone in  our Congregation – young and old  -
 to join us for this Service and for the Lunch afterwards.

THE SERVICE WILL ALSO INCLUDE THE PRESENTATION  OF THE QUEEN’S BADGE TO

SATURDAY, 28th APRIL – OPEN HOUSE AND A’ BRING THE  FAMILY DAY’

AT HOLMER GREEN METHODIST CHURCH   Between 10 am – 4.00 pm

This is a really big year for us and we do ask for your support PLEASE.  On the Saturday come any time
 between 10 am and 4 pm.  There will be display boards  showing events and activities over the 40 years.   
Albums of photos of camps, activities,  etc.  and a displays of work and Badges. 
There will be things to interest any children  so that you can relax.  
Refreshments will be served all day (tea/coffee biscuits and cakes in the morning and afternoon
and sandwiches, crisps, etc at lunchtime)   There will also be a film showing in the
Church so  come for as little or as long as you wish  - 
Our  AIM  is for a completely informal day and a chance to meet old friends.

Please may I request some help in delivering leaflets to drop through Holmer Green doors regarding the 
Diamond Jubilee party on 4th June. It seems like a lovely idea to bring the village together on 
the common with bouncy castles, fancy dress, games and refreshments. It is being organised by the 
Anglicans and the other churches have been asked to help with leafleting.
 Hopefully they will be delivered over the next two to three weeks.

Watchet Lane - through Copners - up Orchard Way - passed the shops and down

Earl Howe Road to arrive here at the Methodist Church for 11. am Service.

You are welcome to join the walk at any point.

Easter morning Sunday 8th April 8.am. Communion followed by our Easter breakfast at 9.am. If you would like to join us for breakfast PLEASE ADD your name to the list by the coffee hatch TODAY. As caterers need to know.

We have had the offers of two gardens for afternoon tea during the summer they are June 30th at Bren’s & Snowy’s and on the 21st July at Margaret James both 2.30.pm. to 5.pm.  

Saturday 17th November Holmer Green Methodist Church the return of Stuart King talking on “Old Holmer Green” part two.  ( further details later.)

Tylers Green Methodist Church are holding a Maundy Thursday Communion Service on April 5th at 7pm. This will be at the supper table so please bring some food to share. All welcome."
